Start to finish of my illustration for F(r)iction Magazine.
After receiving the brief, I came up with three thumbnails. I would be creating a double-page spread for a short story about feeling over-looked when seeking medical help as a woman. I was given a very specific color scheme and a small mood board to and keep in mind when designing the illustration.

After submitting my thumbnails to my art director, I was informed that they were torn between image 2 and 3, with some small critiques for each. I then put together 2 color comps with the requested revisions.
My art director chose image 2, and green lit me to create the final work. I continued to submit 2 progress shots through the process to ensure we continued to beĀ on the same page.
I then added finishing touches and submitted my final work.
